Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI) partners with insuretech, Elephant Insurance, a digital auto insurance company with 11 years in the US, to offer personal auto to AUI’s agents. Agents will be able to submit, quote, and bind online through Elephant’s platform.

“Appalachian Underwriters and Elephant both aim to give customers and agents an efficient, digital experience,” Elephant’s Head of Product and Agency Distribution, Colleen Benzin stated, “Our team is excited to be represented by a leading organization in the industry and one that shares our vision of leading with technology to benefit both customers and agents.” Elephant will be available in a limited number of states but will continue adding additional states over time.

The partnership will offer Appalachian’s agents to Elephant’s diverse and tailored discounts in tandem with additional services like roadside assistance, mobile repairs, and Diminishing Deductible to the coverage.  Appalachian Underwriters is excited to be adding Elephant to the personal lines offered through AUI’s digital network.
