Appalachian Underwriters is pleased to welcome Jim Rocke to the Marketing Team as the External Marketing Representative for the Western states. Based in our Scottsdale, Arizona location, Rocke will be increasing production volume and submissions from the Western agent base, as well as welcoming new Western agents to Appalachian Underwriters.
Rocke joins the Marketing Team with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, beginning his career as an outside independent claims adjuster in which he handled property and casualty claims with multiple carriers. Rocke then specialized in brokering coverage in residential construction throughout California, moving on to ‘high risk’ Excess and Surplus placements, and then working as a wholesale broker and marketing representative for another MGA. He earned his Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification in 2008.
