Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI) is proud to announce Howdy Guion and Bob Tobin as regional sales managers in their territories. Formerly marketing representatives, Howdy Guion is now the South East Regional Sales Manager and Bob Tobin is now the North East Regional Sales Manager.
Howdy has been with AUI for 8 years as of this year. Originally, he was hired as an Internal Marketing Representative and then promoted to an External Marketing Representative. Before AUI, Howdy spent his time as a retail agent for 12 years between two agencies to bring his insurance experience to a total of 20 years.
Before Appalachian, Bob Tobin was an underwriter of management liability products on the direct and re-insurance side and then moved into business development for two global insurance companies for 10 years. Bob came to AUI this past November. His insurance industry experience totals 33 years.
Both individuals are excited for their new positions in their respective territories and AUI is glad to have them as a part of the team. They will continue to focus on growth, agent visits and assisting agents in their region.
