Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI) is excited to announce Debbie Rhody has joined the team as the new marketing representative for the panhandle of FL, a few counties in Alabama and in Mississippi. She will be based out of the Walton County, FL area.

Debbie comes to AUI with 27 years in the insurance industry. She has worked in underwriting, was an account manager on the agency side and a territory manager previously. Her father was an agent for over 50 years, so she has always been in the insurance world! From managing multiple states and working in several distribution channels to reaching her goals, Debbie greatly enjoys insurance.

She finds that being a part of this ever-changing industry, there is always something new and challenging. “I am excited to develop new agency relationships within my territory. I also look forward to getting out and meeting each of my agents. I can not wait to help you grow your agency and our partnership,” said Debbie.

In her free time, she enjoys boating and golfing with friends and family. When not out on the water she loves being at the beach with a good book.
