Appalachian Underwriters received the IBA 5 Star Wholesale Brokers & MGAs - 2023 Award​

Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI) is pleased to announce the receival of the IBA 5 Star Wholesale Brokers and MGAs 2023 Award. This award is given to MGAs and Brokers that meet their clients’ needs while continually growing in multiple areas of focus. Each MGA was ranked on top insurance products. AUI received the gold seal for Workers’ Compensation and bronze seal for High Net Worth.

The most important factors in being chosen for this award fall into a variety of classifications. Appalachian Underwriters was successful in the following categories: geographical reach, range of products, technology or automation, technical expertise and product knowledge, and reputation. To receive designation in these categories the MGA had to have a score of at least 4 out of 5 possible points.

The company has been able to evolve through these listed areas of focus in many ways. AUI has increased automated processes with more online features that include AUIdigital.com, and the variety of quoting options throughout the agent portal, along with more digital features on the agent quoting platform like the policy change request form and the agency updates form. There are a range of products available that include Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Brokerage, Life, and Health options. Appalachian’s products are available in all states with a dedicated marketing representative for each territory. The reputation of AUI is known since being in the industry since 1996 being dubbed the “one-stop shop,” with “Business Made Easy,” for agents.
