We are excited to announce that Appalachian Underwriters Inc. has been ranked the nation’s 5th largest MGA/Underwriting Manager/Lloyd’s Coverholder in 2018. This marks the third consecutive year we have held this title from Business Insurance. Ranks were determined by 2017 wholesale premium volume for property/casualty placements on companies that derive more than 50% for their wholesale premiums from acting as a  managing agent, underwriting manager for Lloyd’s of London coverholder.

AUI also ranked 5th in the Managing General Agents category with 70% of MGA business.
