We are sad to announce the passing of a beloved friend and coworker from Appalachian Underwriters Inc, Carrie A. Bay, former Director of Marketing. She passed on April 29, 2023.
Carrie began her insurance career over 27 years ago and flourished from there. Her prior roles included Sales Manager, Director & Vice President of Operations, Sales Trainer, Marketing Representative and External Marketing Representative. She started at Appalachian early in 2016 as an external marketing representative to be promoted to Marketing Director in January of 2017. Over the years she made an impact not only at Appalachian Underwriters but at every insurance carrier she made contact with.
